The bug also affects me, and I'm using fglrx. I can reproduce it easily, if not always. Just saw this again on Oneiric and nvidia-current. I closed and re- opened Opera and the issue was gone. I have not yet found a way to reproduce it. Yes, it's always happening, regardless of the application - as long as something is scrolled in the left. Restarting Firefox does not help. I can reproduce it too. It happens with both my PCs. A desktop with a HD4850 radeon, and a laptop with a HD3200 radeon. It only happens with the fglrx driver. The issue only affects the Unity's left panel (launcher).
