It took a while before I got to test this issue again, but I tried - again - Installing a fresh version of 10.10 on my laptop - and - again - I had the same problem, I couldn't get the graphics up running. I dont know how I really did the first time though cause this second time I got stuck.. whatever The 11.04 release hasn't had any of these problems, I tried a fresh installation of ubuntu 11.04, xubuntu 11.04 and kubuntu 11.04 - all worked very well with my graphics card.
