Please execute the following command in a terminal after reproducing the issue, and it it will automatically gather debugging information needed for this bug: apport-collect 777279 Looking at your log, the issue is that the EDID from your VGA is not being found. Given that the two monitors are identical, could something be wrong in your cabling? Do you use an adapter? See if swapping out the cable and/or adapters helps. Possibly your second head is not reporting correct EDID information.
