Hi Bryce.. Thank you very much for your attention. This bug is not reproducible after a reinstallation of ubuntu OS. I reinstalled ubuntu on my laptop and didn't upgrade to the newer version of XORG ( the previous xorg update rendered my machine almost useless ). I did reinstall Xorg after i received your mail, but I am not able to reproduce this bug. My system seems to run smoothly. All QT applications that i tested - skype and clementine are running fine. The file manager has no problems as well. I will test the system further, but i feel this bug report can be deleted.
