Hm. Under what circumstances will malloc() segfault? This pretty much requires that we've got memory corruption, which means that the stacktrace isn't going to be very helpful. I'm curious about the EQ overflow spewed at the end of your initial Xorg.0.log. Particularly since it seems that you've got a frame doing free and another doing malloc. Can you >still reproduce this Barry? Hi Chris. I haven't seen it crash since maybe Thursday of last week perhaps. I do remember some xorg updates around that time so perhaps the problem is solved. I did seem the repaint issues mentioned in the above bug, but also haven't seen those in a few days.
