*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 829086 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/829086 This bug effected/effects me as well (i5-2520M), but this is a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video- intel/+bug/882349 and you can work around it with the instructions here :https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39730 Robvdl says a proper fix is headed upstream though.
