I ran: gdb program 21 | tee ~/gdb-libreoffice.txt And got the message: bash: syntax error near unexpected token `2' Libreoffice did not start. I decided to then run: libreoffice And got the message Gtk-Message: Failed to load module globalmenu-gtk Then, I decided to open libreoffice, then typed: gdb 21 | tee gdb-libreoffice.txt I followed the backtrace ubuntu wiki as best I could, so sorry if I didn't do this correctly.
