I also mark this bug against xserver-xorg-video-ati in order to check the status. From what I understand, from muxless ati/intel systems there are two cases (selected by vgaswtcheroo): a) The rendering is done by the Intel card (default case). Intel card is on, ATI card should be off to save power b) The rendering is done by the ATI card. Both cards are on (ATI for rendering, Intel for display) What I state is that in the first case, the ATI card should be off in order to save power, which is not what happens now (it remains on doing nothing).
