[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 999901] Re: Screen resolution does not fall back to default resolution when suspended with external monitor

2013-09-02 Thread AG Restringere
Could you please provide us with some more information?

* Information about your hardware setup such as Nvidia card type and model.
* Please indicate which version of Ubuntu you are using and Kernel version:
just do 'uname -a' at the terminal.
* The driver version and how you installed it.

Thank you.

2013-09-02 Thread AG Restringere
Please execute the following command, as it will
automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:

`apport-collect BUGNUMBER` -- in this case 'apport-collect 01'

When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-
bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this
functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 999901] Re: Screen resolution does not fall back to default resolution when suspended with external monitor

2012-07-10 Thread Bilal Akhtar
This is a problem with the nvidia driver, which doesn't support the
xrandr protocol. Drivers supporting xrandr have this ability already;
the screen resolution falls back to the laptop's own screen if the
external monitor is disconnected during suspend, as far as I know.

** Project changed: unity = xrandr (Ubuntu)

** Package changed: xrandr (Ubuntu) = libxrandr (Ubuntu)
