UdmSearch: grep in udmsearch for windows ?

Hi,

what about using grep in a windows environment ?

Is it mandatory to have ?

In config.inc it´s listed as required tool.

3.0.21 version is available from our site http://search.mnogo.ru/

From ChangeLog:

A bug which caused hard CPU loading in threaded version has been fixed. 
A bug which caused external parsers hangup sometimes has been fixed. 
Some configure.in improvements. 
--disable-file were not work. 
Bugs in robots.txt and gethostbyname() mutexes locking have been fixed.

UdmSearch: Indexing not plain files

I was wondering if it is possible to use udmsearch to index other file type
contents too, like gzip archives, or postscript files.
