[Ugnet] Thanks Mr. Rahimu Jabendo for Funny One Liners!!!

2011-11-17 Thread Assumpta Kintu
Hello Mr. Jabendo!
I had no idea you can be a comedian.
I suppose Dr. Kipenji Owor's
disease is becoming contagious.
On a serious note, thanks so much for the laughter!

[2] Having one child makes you a parent; having two you are a referee.

[3] Marriage is a relationship in which one person is always right and the
other is the husband!

wanted a cheque.

[5] A child's greatest period of growth is the month after you've purchased
new school uniforms.

[6] Don't feel bad. A lot of people have no talent.

[7] Don't marry the person you want to live with, marry the one you cannot
live without, but whatever you do, you'll regret it later.

me.

[15] A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with
the same person.

[16] You're getting old when you enjoy remembering things more than doing

[17] It doesn't matter how often a married man changes his job, he still
ends up with the same boss.

[Ugnet] Dr. Kipenji Owor & Dedicated to Ladit Ocaya p'Ocure

2011-11-17 Thread Assumpta Kintu
What a great collection!
Sorry for sneaking in on Mr. Ocaya p'Ocure's
treat, but it was worthy it.
I am also a true Ugandan. The first time felt this spirit
was with the *Late P. Lutaaya's ' I WAS BORN IN AFRICA'* then
another one I do not remember the musicians' name:
*'I LOVE UGANDA, THE PEARLE OF AFRICA'*
This collection with our children from all over the country
taking pride in their being Ugandans, is touching and amazing!
We should build on this *spirit of ONENESS,* as Ugandans
to save our *Motherland, Uganda!*
Thank you so much for sharing this phenomenal collection,
Dr. Kipenji Owor!

[Ugnet] Unity in diversity my brothers and sisters!!

2011-11-17 Thread Johnson Mujungu

'...As children of a region that is steeped in poverty, poor academic
achievement, a threat of cultural decay and terrible environmental degradation,
we have good reason to join forces in a struggle for the survival of our
community. We believe that it is possible for a Catholic and Protestant to join
hands to support education in Kigezi.

We believe that Banyakigezi who support different political parties can, and
must work together to lift the socioeconomic conditions of all the people of
Kigezi. We strongly believe that it is possible for a Munyarwanda of Bufumbira,
a Mukiga of Bushengyera and a Muhororo of Rujumbura to rise in solidarity to
defend the human rights and citizenship of every Munyakigezi no matter where
they are'   (ICOB at its conception in 2003, Toronto Canada)
