XmlInputSource.close() locks the JARs where a JARUrlConnection is used.
This bug is described in the SUN bug database:

To fix that we only have to insert the following lines before each
'URL.openStream()' call:
URLConnection urlConnection = mURL.openConnection();
if(urlConnection instanceof JarURLConnection)
{
((JarURLConnection) mURL.openConnection()).setDefaultUseCaches(false);
}
