Re: [UC] Link to Philadelphia Real Estate Assessment Info
Bill, I don't know of a City of Philadelphia site but Ed Goppelt's Hallwatch, http://www.hallwatch.org, has a very good site for BRT information. If you go to http://www.hallwatch.org/proptax and select Property Taxes by Block you can see what others on your block have been assessed. Good luck, Andy Fox, Bill wrote: A while ago, somebody sent the listsrev a link to a City Of Philadelphia webpage that allowed you to input an address and get assessment info for your entire block. If anyone still has that and could email it to me, I would be most appreciative. Thanks! Wachovia Securities, Inc. You are receiving this because you are subscribed to the list named UnivCity. The Board of Revision of Taxes site is the City's source. http://apps.phila.gov/brt/BRTProp0902.nsf It will tend to have slightly more current information. Ed's site is only updated on a periodic basis - whenever the BRT publishes the info - but the BRT site theoretically has transactions posted to it as soon as the transactions are posted. I've heard that the time between a sale's registration at the Prothonatory's Office and the BRT update is now running anywhere between several days to 18 months. It is supposed to be no more than 3 weeks. T.T.F.N. William H. [UC] More info about the Holiday House Tour on Sunday, December 15th
I just tried to send this message along with an attachment also containing the press release, but it seems that only the attachment came through - so here is the message again, this time with no attachment. Sorry for the duplication. - Melani Lamond In reply to Naomi's question, and as a reminder for all, here is the original press release for this Sunday's Holiday House Tour, sponsored by the University City Historical Society. [UC] tokens on 40th Street
Anyone know where one can buy septa tokens on 40th Street? Last time I was at the 40th Market station, they didn't have a machine, and I didn't see a sign in a window on the way up indicating sales. Melani's mail with attachment was slightly above that limit. I suspect this is why it didn't make it through. Although I would have thought it would have just bounced, but apparently the list server thought to strip the attachment and send the rest. If I've understood correctly what Melani was trying to send, I've put the attachment online at http://www.purple.com/holiday.doc. (Melani, could you verify that this is the correct attachment? I just copied what I got from the grapevine list, which wasn't as picky about 55K attachments.) I encourage people to send such announcements in plain text pasted in their email, when possible. Plain text in your email is nearly guaranteed to be readable by all and consume negligible bandwidth for those for whom it's an issue. -- Jeff Jeff Abrahamson http://www.purple.com/jeff/ GPG fingerprint: 1A1A BA95 D082 A558 A276 63C6 16BF 8C4C 0D1D AE4B You are receiving this because you are subscribed to the list named UnivCity. Re: [UC] tokens on 40th Street
Rite Aid at 43rd and Spruce sells them. I *believe* they can also be purchased at Thriftway. Otherwise there are bulk sales at Market East and the 8th and Market stations. bga In a message dated 12/9/2002 2:31:07 PM Eastern Standard Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: Anyone know where one can buy septa tokens on 40th Street? [UC] Recent Vintage Magazines
Title: Recent Vintage Magazines Is there anyone who could use some recent - all within the last year - magazines for a waiting room? Or for cut n paste projects for school? They range from some Old House Journals, New York magazine (no...not New Yorker), to Smithsonian, some Vegetarian Times. Thought I'd check with the listserv first before throwing them out.
