Summer '11

Everyone,

If you know any of the following professionals - landscape architects, civil
engineer, stormwater management consultant, and cost estimator - please let
them know that the Coalition and the Community Design Collaborative are
looking for design volunteers to assist us in greening the play yards at Lea
Elementary School (see full email below). We are excited about this
opportunity at Lea, but it can only happen if the Collaborative has
volunteers for the project. Volunteers should contact Heidi Levy at
he...@cdesignc.org

Thanks,

David Hincher

[UC] Parking Spaces @ 43rd & Baltimore

2011-08-05 Thread Karen Allen

I was riding past the Green Line this afternoon and saw the parking spaces on
the 43rd Street side blocked off with sawhorses and the cars replaced with
tables and chairs.
What's up with that?

[UC] Missing: dark tortoiseshell kitty with bad right eye - 43rd Osage/Pine

2011-08-05 Thread Linda
This very friendly indoor-outdoor dark tortoiseshell kitty is missing
from 409 S. 43rd (since Monday). No collar or microchip. She's
petite, about 2yrs old, and fixed. She has a condition with her right
eye (as you can see from the photo) that needs to be dealt with. If
you've seen her (or are able to capture her) please contact Lia at
215-559-4648, or email me back.

If you live within a few blocks of here please check your yard, alley,
under porch, basement, garage, etc. She may be injured and hiding.
Sorry, the pic of her won't transmit to the purple list for some
reason. I can email to anyone directly.

thanks. -L
