[UC] Looking for a Good/Reputable Small Claims Lawyer
So, I need a small claims lawyer to get back my rental car charges from an accident where I was rear-ended in Dec. 2007. My insurance company (Progressive) does not have any impetus to get the money back as it is out of pocket for me (no rental insurance on the policy) and they have been reinbursed for the damage and repairs to the vehicle. Awesome. Any suggestions out there? Please send me an email directly, off-list. Thanks. Thanks for the help! Cheers, Mark

Re: [UC] Energy Concerns
Hi Lowell, I think I saw that IKEA recycles all kinds of light bulbs as well as batteries - they have drop off containers right in the store by the merchandise pickup area. Cheers, Mark This maybe a little off topic but it fits in with the energy / recycling and trash pick up emails. Many people suggest using Compact Fluorescent Lamps to save energy. Before you purchase and install any of these lamps you should read the EPA Fact sheet linked here: http://www.nema.org/lamprecycle/epafactsheet-cfl.pdf These lamps contain mercury. In fact if you look closely you can sometimes see pea sized drops of mercury rolling around inside the lamp. If the lamp breaks it could release mercury directly into your home. These lamps should be handled very carefully and should never be installed in a location where they could be easily broken. It is also extremely important that the lamps are disposed of properly. The EPA's suggestion of putting the bulbs into a plastic bag before disposing of them sounds good but the trash truck's compactor will crush the bag and bulb when the trash is collected and the mercury will leak into the environment at either the landfill or the transfer station (e.g. Grey's Ferry right next to the Schuylkill). I have a few I would like to dispose of properly. Does anyone know if the sanitation department takes them during the hazard waste pickup days? Thanks, Lowell
