Now this piques the curiosity.

In what way was PCS a "tax consuming entity"?

Re: [UC] what are we doing for the fire victims?

Confirmed via phone call a few minutes back:

The Salvation Army at 5501 Market is accepting donations from 9 - 4
Monday through Friday. They can take "everything except furniture."

215 474 1010 is their office.

As to furniture, that Pine Street fire relief effort made good use of
a local owner's temporarily empty space. Is there any big heart
person who has a space where we can drop off larger items to help
people get back on their feet? IIRC it was Spruce Hill CA that
coordinated this effort all those years ago.

Anybody who has every been through a fire will be eager to help. Mine
was almost 30 years ago and I'm still crying for these people.

Surely somebody is already organizing this. Please share the details.

Excellent plan! Me, I love bagpipes of all nations. Many people do
not. Would you like me to share some good streaming sites? Or perhaps
just one lively number over and over and over?

They say it's not a problem because I'm the only one who complains.
Well, duh, I'm the one who lives closest to them and he's barking

you would complain to them, too. 1013 S. 46th St.

1. Will the cyclamen be the scented variety? I needed one for a
birthday gift last week, last minute -was bummed that it had no
fragrance, but had to settle for it.

2. You do know that Habitat W. Philly has merged with the all-city
group? Supplied link goes to 404, googling does same, seeming to
confirm what I'd been told by the umbrella group. http://
www.habitatphiladelphia.org/ Has W.Philly broken off again and not
yet brought that info to the web?
