Does this mean that the UCD, or an otherwise connected sub-contractor
thereof, had erroneously placed your name on that list?

Why shouldn¹t the host of http://www.ucbid.net issue you a retraction and
apology instead of Lewis Wendell?

Sorry.  I¹m not computer illiterate, but I¹m afraid the significance of all
of the website stuff you all seem so intrigued by is lost on me. :-(

I guess it¹s UCD that put my name on the list, since there is no BID or NID
to put it there? :-/

The host doesn't matter. The host is just who they pay for server  
space. It's the owner of the domain ucbid.net that matters and the   
owner of that domain is UCD.
