[UC] firewood

2014-04-30 Thread Jo Ann Fishburn

Hello Neighbors,

A great team recently cut up a magnolia that had died and fallen in our back
yard. It was dead for a couple of years, so I'm told the wood is nice and dry
for burning. It's free to anyone who will come and get it.

If you're interested, email me so we can set up a time.

Thanks,

Jo Ann Fishburn

If you¹re ordering a whole cord, I recommend Rainbow Landscaping. For years
I got it elsewhere it was always green, and I was lucky if the place
deemed to return my calls. Rainbow was responsive, prompt and the wood was
well-seasoned.

If you just want ³a few logs,² I¹d get some fake logs at the supermarket.

Does anyone know of a place in the neighborhood where I could buy a
few logs of firewood?

And what if I wanted a whole cord delivered? Who would you recommend?

We just had our flues relined and the cold and snow are making me
hanker for a fire in the fireplace.

Thanks,
Ricky

2004-11-03 Thread Vincent/Roger

We have lost our long time firewood supplier that
we had for our house and at the Palladium.  So I wanted to know if anyone
knew of resonably priced firewood supplier.  This would be both for our
house and our restaurant (Abbraccio), so we go through quite a bit.  Thanks
in advance for any suggestions.

[UC] Firewood for Sale

Title: Firewood for Sale

Hi Neighbors,

I have slightly less than a half cord of seasoned hardwood for firewood.  Is there anyone in list.serv land who might be interested in buying?  It has been sitting since last October when it was delivered by the same company that services Kelly's Writers' House at Penn (I surely hope that mentioning it's their wood is helpful for sale.)

Hi,

A local community youth group that specializes in teaching leadership and teamwork
through outdoor activities has firewood for sale.

This wood is from a maple tree that was felled in the neighborhood in the spring. The
wood has been cut and sorted. Reasonable prices. Delivery charges extra. There is
about one half of a cord available.

All money raised will be used to send kids to camp, as the kids did most of the work
in chopping and sorting the wood.

Email me if you are interested.
