Title: Re: [UC] Worse litter than pizzarias and roofing contractors -- Car Share!
The Department of Licenses Inspections offers a decal you can put on your house that says No Circular Property. Although most deliverers of circulars ignore the decal, once you have the decal, you can report the offenders. The DLI can then fine the offenders. Last week, I reported an offender for the first time. Accu Pizza has repeatedly left flyers lying on the walkways of houses. I had called them on it before without results. I am now ready to report more offenders. Maybe if a lot of us have the decals and report offenders, businesses will finally get the message?
You can get a decal by calling 215-685-3731 or faxing 215-685-3711 or writing:

Subject: [UC] Worse litter than pizzarias and roofing contractors -- Car Share!

So how can the Pizza places and Contractors (which are hard to get a hold
of) doing it? Can they be fined or something? How can one stop the
overwhelming amount of recycling I do just because people throw their
circulars on my porch?
The latest guilty party is the car-share program. They doorknobbed over the weekend and their circulars are now all over the sidewalks. Perhaps the worst case of mass litter in the neighborhood in several years.
