It was dominated with posts like West's series and Siano's post for a long
time. In July of 2007, the University of Pennsylvania set up a censored list
for the core cyber bullies whom were harrassing our community discussions here.
Some of us finally exposed the bag of tricks used to harrass and the cyber
bullies were thereafter very much exposed. Bullies are cowards.
The Penn censored list serves two main functions. Penn is developing the list,
over time, so that when projects like this hotel come up, they can have a
controlled community discussion to prove to whomever that the public
unanimously loves and adores the Penn agenda.
Secondly, the bullies are given the safe space to pretend that they are not the
cause of this type of cyber attack. West, Siano, Lamond were all involved with
the creation of the censored list and attempted to classify our community
discussions as ranting. They refused to identify individuals whom they accused
of creating an uncivil environment on this list when it was actually them.
This was meant to intimidate everyone by proving they had the power to silence
opposing points of view.
They attempted to intimidate all of the people here into believing that since
they have the full and complete backing and power of the university censorship
policy behind them that anyone can be eliminated or silenced.

Suzanne, these Siano/West posts are pot shots that no longer dominate the list.
Without the bullies, this list is very civil and is one of the most important
places for honest discussions and exchange of information by our neighbors.
The bullies have surfaced again, because of the defeat of the hotel. Our
neighbors are getting much more hip to the tricks and abuse of power of these
so called community leaders like West and Siano. But they are desparate.
I've been a regular target of these characters, in the neighborhood, and list
for years. I love it. Mr. West and Siano are leaders of a civic association.
Every time they make these attacks, all of us get to see the tremendous
problems with our civic associations. Unfortunately, bullies love leadership
positions in these civic associations because the associations are in
tremendous need of reform.
But please believe the personal and ad hominem attacks are not some internet
phenomena as some mistakingly believe.
West and Siano have been relying on that strategy for years as the primary way
to attempt to intimidate dissent. They will soon go back to the censored list
and the list will function without this kind of crap.

Is this list always like this? A few dominate/monopolize with endless tirades
that insult and impugn others on a personal basis? I recently joined this list
to keep my eye on ulta local issues of interest. Not this stuff.
