Recycle NOW West Phila wants you to go to the Flower Show for free!
Your friends and neighbors at RNWP bring you another opportunity to help you help us improve recycling and save the City tens of millions of dollars each year and get you in free to the Phila Flower Show. The catch? You have to sit through a Mayoral Candidates Forum and ask a recycling question and/or sign the RNP petition: http://www.recyclenowphila.org/TakeAction.asp
Actually you don't really have to do either, but why wouldn't you?
Here are some hot sample questions that you are welcome to recycle off me:

"Will you commit to implementing a city-wide, incentive-based single-stream, weekly curbside collection recycling program and begin the roll-out in University City, of course?"

"Will your administration continue to look the other way while the Streets Department waste smillions of our tax dollars that could be spent on the new West Philly High School or the Clark Park renewal plan?"

"Why is Phila continuing to violate its own mandatory waste diversion law?"

"Detroit Recycles more than us. How pathetic it THAT?"

Or something else recyling-related. No under-handed soft-ball pitches like the old, played-out, "Do you like recycling?". That's sow 2006. Everybody (except the dirt-balls on Kyle's block) likes recycling. If you agree to bring one of our fantastic RNWP signs, I'll let you bust line ahead of me. I'll be the guy with the "Clark Park Wants to Recycle" sign.

Here's the officail invite that I recycled especially for you from the PA Envir Council:

"The Council is excited to share this opportunity with you. Here is a chance to hear the candidates discuss issues that are both critical to the Council's work and important to Philadelphians' quality of life - open space, greenways, vacant land, stormwater, parks, and access to our natural resources. My apologies for any double postings.
