I have some observation regarding such 'not displayed' emails. If you check the source of such email (menu View - Message Source) then you will realize that either one of the following is true. 1. The boundary value specified in the Content-Type header is not present before start of content. It is present after end of content. 2. The boundary value present before start of content does not match the one specified in the Content-Type header. I don't know where the bug lies. It probably is problem with Exchange server that the content is malformed. @Draycen, gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad* package do not depend on ubuntu-restricted- extras in any way. ubuntu-restricted-extras is a meta package which pulls lot of gstreamer plugin packages as well as Sun JRE package. @John, gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad has a midi plugin which needs freepats package to work properly. So when you try to install gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad the freepats package is alo installed. The freepats package is huge in size (29 MB). This might be the reason the download appeared to be stuck at 5%. You can bypass the installation of freepats package when installing gstreamer package in following way. In Synaptic go to Preferences - General - Marking Changes. There is a checkbox 'Consider recommended packages as dependencies'. The upnp plugin is now built in nautilus-sendto package in Lucid. So this package is no more necessary. I have filed a bug for package removal - bug 511181. Manny, When I don't want people taking over the packages I uploaded last I specifically add comments on MoM. So in this case it is not an issue at all. There are fewer contributors working on java packages than C/C++/Python etc. So I am always happy if other contributors work on these packages. Ideally imagej should switch to launcher script based on java-wrappers. I don't fully understand the error here as the language seems to be Spanish (my guess). It looks like the gstreamer0.10-ugly-multiverse package contains a file with same name as another package (gstreamer0.10-lame). But the gstreamer0.10-lame package is not in official repositories. So you seem to have some PPA enabled or you have manually installed this package. That note misrepresents the reality. If you check individual licenses then you will realize that some of them are not distributable at all while some will end up in multiverse (non-free in Debian). Thanks for the sample test case. The problem is that even though libcommons-httpclient-java depends on libcommons-codec-java, it does not add commons-codec.jar in classpath (usually done in MANIFEST.MF file). At the same time jmeter launcher script does not explicitly add commons-codec.jar in classpath. So even though the library is available you get class not found exception. [Bug 438065] Re: Karmic: DVDs cannot be mounted in GNOME
I have similar problem. I am assuming it is same as this bug because the messages in dmesg led me here (via Google Search). I initially thought the drive was faulty but it is not the case. What works: Audio CD, Video CD, non-CSS-encrypted DVD, all mount fine. What doesn't work: CSS-encrypted DVD, irrespective of region code. Workaround tried: I tried removing (lib)brasero*. That doesn't help. I tried installing mainline kernel from the PPA for date 2 October. Even that doesn't help. I agree with Adrian here. The donation window may be nagging but it is possible to ignore it by closing it. The license of the program does not prohibit request for donation. And the existence of the application may well be depending on donated money. We should not do a dis-service to the developers by disabling this dialog. @Stefan, The bug you mentioned is not actually a bug in java-gnome. The doc generation process in java-gnome tries to take screenshots of some demo apps running with help of xvfb. This screenshot generation triggers a problem in glib when using old kernels (which seem to be the case on Debian buildd). Another similar bug is http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=543587 This failure should not happen on Ubuntu buildd.
