Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or
challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these
instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can
be dealt with by the automatic retracer.

It's not an crash per se.
Brasero just fails to detect CD/DVD drive.

Yes, the update on existing shiretoko

assertion `GTK_IS_TREE_SORTABLE (sortable)' failed

and installation of firefox-3.6

:~$ firefox-3.6
*NOTICE* No previous firefox-3.6 profile found, we'll initialize a profile
using a copy of your existing 'firefox-3.5' profile.
Transfering... done.

(firefox-3.6:7582): Gtk-CRITICAL **:

(firefox-3.6:7582): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_sortable_set_sort_column_id:
assertion `GTK_IS_TREE_SORTABLE (sortable)' failed

So both of them crashes.

2008-11-16 Thread Tuomas Aavikko
@Ralf I havent had any luck, but not going to do fresh install just to
test this one.

Thanks for commandline which can be used as well,
Something like

for convertion to .wav
for a in *.mp3 ; do mpg123 -w $a.wav $a ; done
Don't mind the double extensions ;)

And for burning to a disk
wodim -v -eject -pad -dao speed=12 dev=/dev/scd0 defpregap=0 -audio *.wav

So device works, it's just brasero that hangs
Going to test other apps, k3b and gnomebaker...
