[Bug 359518] Re: acroread failed to update in 8.10
I had the same problem on my laptop this WE. And today at work I was happily surprised to see the partial upgrade workaround. But the thing is that the partial upgrade removes the acroread package during the cleaning step. And I am wondering why it needs to install ash -- acroread failed to update in 8.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/359518 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
[Bug 344697] Re: sfcb fails to stop, resulting in sblim-cmpi-base failing to install
I looked to the source of the sblim-cmpi-base debian package. SFCB is effectively stopped with the init script (/etc/init.d/sfcb). But I noticed that SFCB usually have some problems to stop by using this script, usually when SFCB is in an unresponding state. My method is to kill it with a killall -9 sfcbd. More genarally I noticed that SFCB have some responding problems. -- sfcb fails to stop, resulting in sblim-cmpi-base failing to install https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/344697 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
[Bug 344697] Re: package sblim-cmpi-base 1.5.6-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Actually the problem disappeared the next day when I boot up my computer. So it's maybe due to the fact that SFCB was not running, I don't remember if I shut it down before uninstalling the sblim-cmpi-base package. -- package sblim-cmpi-base 1.5.6-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/344697 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs

[Bug 318180] Re: gnubik fails to launch; prints cannot get suitable visual to terminal and exits
The bug appends on both my laptop and my PC. But it happens only when I use the ATI open driver.
