You're correct, I was tired last night and didn't think much. Just submitted
the bug so it could be fixed ASAP.

Sincerely Yours

Status in “alarm-clock” source package in Ubuntu: Confirmed

 Bug description:
 Binary package hint: alarm-clock

I just installed the alarm-clock applet on Jaunty(fully updated) to have it
wake me up in the mornings, but if I open the program, the system freezes. I
can move the cursor and see the applet has launched, but everything is
completely frozen. A hard reboot is necessary to get the system working
 again.

 Architecture: i386
 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
