I'm running R5 and the artwork database cache shows symptoms of
corruption. I have deleted artwork file per previous suggestion and
observed at least temporary improvement, but the corruption reappears
again in other artwork. Does R6 have any fixes related to artwork
database cache?

I think I need to uncomment the line to have hdmi output when the TV is
not powered on, or maybe it is AVR/processor related because this
setting is not mandatory.

That sounds good to me. I will wait then. Thanks!

I don't think so. Just wait for Mouser to get 'them'
in stock, 01/07. Free shipping (over £50) to the UK and no messing

Clive,

Would it make sense to create a group buy for the Wand Quad? We all can
save money on the delivery to the UK (from the Future Electronics) and
we might get a discount if we buy more units.Just a thought...

I see. Thanks for letting me know Clive.

It's just bits and pieces rather than anything earth shattering.

I wanted to be able to say that it would support the QUAD CPU and SATA
out-of-the-box, but I refused to pay the 18GBP shipping charge that
Future Electronics wanted for the 'QUAD CPU'
board, and they were the only distributor with any stock available
before the 01/07. (They are out of stock as well now. Still had some
units yesterday.)

It's mainly a case of all software updated to latest versions and
Web-GUI enhancements for share/drive mounting/partitioning.

2013-06-15 Thread sbp

Hi

I simply need to understand why you did not get sound from the analog
audio out, when you had the HDMI cable attached.

I would like to know if there is a setting in the config.txt file which
allows for getting audio through the analog (and USB-DAC) no matter if
you have a HDMI cable attached or not.

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCoPlayer = Squeezelite on Microcore linux. .An embedded OS in RAM with Squeezelite

2013-06-15 Thread sbp

Hi Johnyb62, nathan_h and giantpopples

Thank you for trying the new version.

Could you help me to understand how this HDMI works.

Johnyb62 had problems with no sound coming out of the analog audio jack
when he had a HDMI cable connected at the same time - for me that would
be indicate that the piCorePlayer then would output audio through the
HDMI. This was observed with a piCorePlayer where nothing had been
changed in the config.txt file so it would still be:
#hdmi_drive=2
So I would think that the default settings should work for nathan_h and
giantpopples who wants to use audio via HDMI?

But nathan_h and giantpopples tell me that you have to change:
#hdmi_drive=2
to
hdmi_drive=2
In order to get sound from the HDMI??
