Using the supplied dongle it looks like we can get the key codes, but we will need to patch sdl to process them and then patch jivelite. The one thing i notice is that although there is a separate play and pause button, they both send the same code. Is this something you notice when using flirc with it? I think this may be an annoyance when using as a squeezebox controller..? Any views? Interested if others have MCE remotes which we can validate if they do the same thing? LMS-7.7.3 is now up and running with Perl 5.14.4 The version number '1.34_01' is hard-coded into CPAN/DBD/SQLite.pm at line 13. You could try editing that file and putting in the new version number. gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99648 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Must say the extra functions for mounting drives looks very promising - Triode has done some great work again. slackhead's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13963 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99395 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Community Squeeze OS F19 Release 1
When I was setting up the wireless...the WB was at my computer with the router I was trying to connect to within two feet away...I was thinking faulty antenna but a friend said he runs his without and it works just fine... I'm running the quad... As for my card...it's a Kingston 32G...not sure of the class though...but I'm willing to go buy a new card today and try!!! Thanks!!! sideways2's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62468 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99395 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

During the tests I did at my friends house, who has a 50.000+ track database, the wb quad scanned that database in 1.5 hours or so. I'm using SanDisk 8 Gb class 10 SD cards. I'm pretty confident that the poor scanning performance is produced by the quality of your SD card. 1 x SB3, 1 x SB Boom, 1 x SB Radio and 2 x SB Touch - all wireless 1 x Wandboard Dual behind the bedroom ceiling 1 x Wandboard Dual for 'msqueeze' (http://www.msqueeze.co.nf/index.html) project ReadyNAS NVX running LMS 7.7.3. w iTunes plugin iPeng 7 on iPhone. Seems like the same issue I reported a while back. Since I was the only one having this issue and JackOfAll and Pascal tested their own setups over wifi for a few days without experimenting it, I thought it might be hardware related (some problem specific to my own wandboard) or maybe there was something wrong with my setup or config (although I tested with three different routers and my cellphone ap with no luck). Anyhow, since I was using wireless only because it was easier than runing a wire all trough the room to where the router is (the original idea was to wire it), the problem seemed to be in my hardware, and the tube amp I'm using right now was clearly picking noise from the wandboard when using wifi, I finally gave up and found a way to set the wire. Maybe, when I get back home I can do some more testing and see if we can figure out the problem. I have both a dual and a quad, but ever since the quad arrived the dual is in it's box. Before wiring I was planning to try with the dual and see if I have the same issues just to try to confirm/discard a possible hardware problem. Do you have a quad or a dual? As someone else pointed (I think it was Pascal), I've also noticed that the quad seems to be more sensitive to interferences (thanks to my samsung tv creating some kind of ap of it's own in the same channel), but the last time I checked, I was the only one using the channel.
