I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm having a hard time finding information about Squeezelite and Pandora. I'm unable to run Pandora on the computer I run Squeezelite on. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Community Squeeze OS F19 Release 1
I've been looking(in various areas) at eeking out every last CPU cycle of performance I've posted an update to soxr, which is being used for resampling in squeezelite and dsdplay. The difference from the last build, is that although SIMD was enabled by default on Intel, the detection code that switches is on for arm won't ever switch it on for arm. Anyway, a quick hack patch to force it on and now NEON extensions should be being used for single precision FFT. (Which means up to 'h' 20 bit quality. Go to 'v' and it's using doubles, for which I don't believe there is any SIMD optimisation.) This hasn't had any real testing by me other than to be able to say that it is working. I've not run any benchmarks, other than the tests that were in the soxr distro, but that wasn't very conclusive. Needs some numbers generated with downsampling DSD, vs the old version. If anyone else is interested in testing. Need to restart squeezelite after updating, otherwise it'll carry on using the old version it has loaded in memory. Update... Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCoPlayer = Squeezelite on Microcore linux. .An embedded OS in RAM with Squeezelite
Hello, Tried again with 1.15a today, still no luck. Lots of static, with the exact same settings that works perfect in V09. Have to revert again :( ps : I wrongly reported it as working with 1.14d in the dac section of the site... I will post another report. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCoPlayer = Squeezelite on Microcore linux. .An embedded OS in RAM with Squeezelite
Hello all, firstly thanks to all who have put PiCorePlayer together... I am having good success playing with my Raspberry Pi via my Audiophilleo-2 up to 96kHZ. However using the squeezelite upsampling options, I get some very quiet crackling at 176400 and complete hash at 192000, regardless of attenuation, buffering and other settings. Anybody else using an AP2 (or AP1) who can comment on their experience? krebetman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56217 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

For the time being, the images will still be available from my vacuumtube site. Sometimes the file permissions (or actually the top level directory permissions) get messed-up after the daily rsync job runs, requiring manual intervention. Fixed now.
