[SlimDevices: Unix] Can LMS on x86_64 Linux use 64 bit transcoding binaries?
Just finished building my new home server based on 64 bit Ubuntu Server 14.04 (Trusty Tahr), and it's very happy running LMS 7.8, but I had to install 32bit libraries for sox, flac, faad, lame etc to get it to transcode live radio AAC and OggFLAC broadcasts. This isn't a problem, but was wondering if there was any (easy) way to get LMS to use the 64bit binaries? Also are there any plugins that would use the 64 bit binaries? dagadog's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33215 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101484 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
[SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer >> Squeezy(Stream Autostart) and 2 Line LCD Display
Hi there, apologizes for the following bad english :) If have 2 questions. I use the picoreplayer as well, but I do not understand, how to change data. I will use "https://code.google.com/p/squeezy/"; to autostart a Stream at startup and get a 2 line LCD Display to work with a new python script. Can someone give a small tutorial on how I change the data permantly? Unfortunately I have not yet read about it, but there are maybe already a script for the presentation of Squeezelite information? Thank you in advance. There's a setting in LMS for this that is a per player setting, have you checked in LMS? Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCoPlayer = Squeezelite on Microcore linux. .An embedded OS in RAM with Squeezelite
@sbp I'm having a strange issue since I upgraded to 1.15b: I usually leave music playing and just cut the power when I don't want to listen anymore. Then, when I turn the power back on, the player continues with the same radio channel/track. Sadly, this no longer works with the latest version. I don't think I've changed anything else, so I assume it must be something to do with Picoreplayer or Squeezelite, that makes the player restart as "Paused". Any ideas? Thanks. Hi all. yeah bad luck with the 1.15c, it was working really good with my USB, so I got so excited that I released it before testing with I2S audio cards. So if you are using anything else than USB then I suggest that you stay on piCorePlayer1.15b for the time being. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCoPlayer = Squeezelite on Microcore linux. .An embedded OS in RAM with Squeezelite
Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but ... Is it possible to add piFM and sox to the image ? This way it should be possible to use picoreplayer as an FM-transmitter for old radio-receivers. I found this 'LINK' (http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.music.equipment.slimdevices.unix/25757) on the net, but I can't find sox or piFM for piCore.
