Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce: piCorePlayer 3.10
For me, on WiFi, 3.10 is taking right on 20 seconds to start playing music, a little longer to see JiveLite start-up without wifi is quicker, but I've never timed it rPi 3 + rasPi 7" LCD + HiFiBerry DiGi+ | rPi 2 + IQaudio DAC+ |rPi 2 + HiFiBerry DAC+ | Squeeze Box Touch | LMS + XPenology on HP Gen 8 | huxmut's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65108 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106755 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce: piCorePlayer 3.10
hi Benicz How long is it taking to boot now? What Raspberry Pi? Overclocking? I think most "normal" SD cards have similar read times, it's the write time that varies the most. regards Greg Greg Erskine's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7403 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106755 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

I only use the "Digital Clock (Black)" so that would be my preferred :) I committed a bunch of changes to improve the clock scaling on HD and new Touch and Grid skins. Digital and Analog Clock should work (though the AM/PM is a bit out of place for some resolutions...). The Word Clock should work in the Touch and Grid based skins (not the HD ones). Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce: piCorePlayer 3.10
Yes I know - it's sad... But I have hope it'll work together some time. :-) I'm on 3.11 vanilla now, analog out wich does very well for my purposes. Tried the audio version, but there were lots of hicks and artifacts. My next issue is boot time - are there ways to get it up faster? Fast SD for starters, I guess... :-P But there may be other things?
