Hmm . . . there's a picture showing the Playlist folder location in the
OP's first post?

Open the LMS web interface. Then click settings in the bottom right
corner. Look at the basic settings tab. Where does it say the
Playlists are being stored?

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Playlist not saving to LMS

2018-05-22 Thread mflaten

The playlist library has read/write privileges. My music library is in
my NAS and this started all of a sudden.

Here is what is unusual. If I save to the playlist, it is reflected on
the playlist as long as the LMS is open. I checked to see if the item
is on the playlist directory in my NAS storage and it is not. All the
earlier playlist is there. Once I close LMS the new playlist item
disappears. I have no idea where it is stored.

The cache storage has nothing to do with playlists. Where are your
playlists setup within LMS settings?

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce: Squeezelite - a small headless squeezeplay emulator for linux (alsa only)

2018-05-22 Thread mavit

As I understand it, the -N option isn't really intended for setting the
name directly. It's for telling squeezelite where to remember its name
when that name is changed via the web interface, under Settings ->
Player -> Basic Settings -> Player Name. Player names are also
remembered by the server, in
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/server.prefs, so if you change the
contents of the file, I guess it's possible for these two things to fall
out of sync, and for the old name to be used.

Hi,

thanks a lot. However I want to store it in a File to easy rename it via
Script. Of course I could also parse into the command but it would be
easier to extract it from a txt file.

Thanks
