Otherwise, have you changed anything else that you know of? What is the output setting for Shairport-sync? If you do use LMS often, I find the Shairport plugin from Phillip_44 a much better solution. piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Cannot enter my password
I have had a Squeezebox2 for years. Works great. I have just acquired a Squeezebox V3 which I want to set up as wireless. It works fine wired sitting on my desk, but I want to put it in my bedroom, no wire. My WPA2 password contains several special characters. Is there a way to enter special characters in the WPA2 password on the V3? Thanks! thomabrown's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68500 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109219 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

When you say in the past.do yo mean prior to v4.0.0 or you were using it successfully with 4.0.0 and now it doesn't work. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Is it OK to mount root of new usb HDD to pCP?
I turns out it was the wifi on the laptop slowing down the transfer speed, I'm getting about 10MB/s if I connect both devices with ethernet, which is great. Thanks very much to the piCoreplayer people. I've got it all up and running with no trouble at all, LMS and file server in one easy to use and cheap box is brilliant :D moletteuk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=50177 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109508 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

My iPad has played via Shairport on pCP in the past, however it's not working now. Shairport is running on pCP, iPad 'thinks' it is playing towards the pCP, which shows no sign of 'noticing'. I'm using LMS on pCP. Things I have changed since this did work are: the pCP output to the DAC in my PM7005 amplifier, from hifiberry digi coax, to RPi USB; I have installed Waveinput. I have tried rebooting the pCP and the iPad. Any ideas? TIA. Living room: SB Touch, with coax to: Marantz PM7005, TDL RTL3 speakers. Dining room: SB Boom. Kitchen: SB Radio 1/4 with battery. [SlimDevices: Unix] Backup by switching to picoreplyer 4.0
Hello everyone, I am currently on pCP 3.5, and I would like to upgrade to pCP 4.0. I pilot my RPI3 via the Squeezer application on Android. My question: will all my favorites (especially radios) disappear? If so, will I have to reprogram them all? Is there a way to save all this, and not lose my favorites by switching to pCP 4.0? Thanks for your help. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Will not start on OpenSUSE Leap 15
For me, it is still not working as it should be. i created the file /etc/SuSE-release and reinstalled the software I can now manually start the service with Code: systemctl start logitechmediaserver.service but it won't start on boot. Code: systemctl enable logitechmediaserver.service gives me the error: Code: Failed to enable unit: Unit /run/systemd/generator.late/squeezeboxserver.service is transient or generated . Am I the only one who can't have it start on boot? pimd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19488 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109091 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
