Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] LAN connecting Raspberry Pi 3 (LMS) to Squeezbox Touch. How to?
Well I followed the instructions here https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=132674 I didn't bother with rpi-update (not really needed). I was able to connect the SBT to pi via Ethernet but nothing would play > couldn't resolve IP Address So... time to use that backup I made of the setup...I wonder if the lamb is still in the oven? ronnie Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110383 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] LAN connecting Raspberry Pi 3 (LMS) to Squeezbox Touch. How to?
Well I have a rpi3B with LMS on that I have just set up for one of my sisters who runs a Boom with a Joggler holding the LMS. The OS on th pi is an updated version of Raspbian Stretch with desktop Image with desktop based on Debian Stretch Version: November 2018 Release date: 2018-11-13 Kernel version: 4.14 I added a wpa_supplicant.conf file to the sd card and rebooted the pi. Connected the pi and SBT with a short bog standard RJ45 Ethernet cable. On the SBT I went to My Music and connected to the new server. Then Favourites and lo... they have justed popped a lamb into the oven (Archers Omnibus) ronnie oh ah, me old beauty! (I do miss Gabriel!)
