Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] official RPF touchscreen not fully recognized?

My guess is that it would not work if you tried booting Raspbian
instead.
In which case ... check wiring.

[SlimDevices: Unix] official RPF touchscreen not fully recognized?

2019-12-12 Thread Marsupial

Greetings,

I have a raspberry pi 3 with the official RPF 7" touchscreen.

When I boot it in PiCorePlayer 5.0, the screen is correctly detected for
playing, but I have no touchscreen.
In the piCorePlayer menu, with "adjust LCD brightness" I get "no
official raspberry pi display found" (or something to that end)

Where do we find the correct drivers to install for touchscreen and
brightness control?

Thanks.

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Can My PiCorePlayer do other things too?

2019-12-12 Thread paul-

Pretty much what is in our repo is what you can install from the web
interface. Or tools commonly used with the RPI. We do offer a
gcc/build toolchain if you want to take a stab at compiling things. I
build everything natively for pCP, except for the kernels which are
cross compiled.

Hi Craig

In "Advanced" mode on the "Main Page" of the piCorePlayer web-GUI you
have the option: Extensions
Press that Extensions button - and you're presented with the first tab =
Information.
Click "Available" tab and there's a list of available extensions that
can be installed from the piCorePlayer repository.

I know you asked about stuff like JRiver, but this is the list of what's
available.

Cheers,
Claus

It is the internal WiFi of the RPi zero.

What wifi stick are you using? or RPI internal wifi?

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Reconnect wifi if connection lost

2019-12-12 Thread H34dl3ss

Thanks for your replies!
Knowing that, I tried to find some answers to the problem.

Considering the findings, it seems, nobody cares about reconnecting.
'This guy'
says, that wpa_supplicant will automatically try to reconnect.

Paul-, you wrote the same in the other thread IIRC.

For me, it does not.
How can I troubleshoot this?
Where, in what log, would I find errors from unsuccessful reconnecting
attempts?
