Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] PiZero W + Picoreplayer 7.0.1 Wifi Issues
I was able to install the official buster image, and run a full update, and I get the exact same behavior. If I run a large file copy over to the PI from a local host, it can "freeze" the pizero's network quickly or in 3-5 minutes. Does sound even remotely familiar to anyone else? My next test is to see if I can replicate the behavior with a different access point, to rule that out. The following settings *do not* allow playlists to be saved. 33634 +---+ |Filename: RW.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=33634| +---+ kidhazy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42259 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111828 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] 'Official' docker container for LMS?
Firstly - thanks for all the massive work everyone's done on getting the 'official' container image to where it is. I'd been using doliana's image on my RPi, and have just moved my Synolgy NAS from the app package to the official docker image, and I'm just trying to sort out my playlists as the container mount points have changed the folder names used in LMS created playlists. What's the purpose of the "/playlist" mount point in the container image? I originally mapped it to a shared NAS folder, but I still had to complete the "Playlist Folder" field on the LMS server settings page. Should this have been completed automatically? Additionally, my playlist folder is currently a sub-folder in my music directory - I saw a suggestion to mount the music directory as ReadOnly (ro). How would the /playlist container mount be impacted by the RO setting if the mapped folder is a subfolder of the ReadOnly music folder? Thanks. kidhazy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42259 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111828 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] 'Official' docker container for LMS?
Hi folks Just wanted to add my experience. I have a Synology DS218+ - installed Docker and have gone for the 8.2 branch of LMS. Initially, issues with getting LMS to see my music library stored on the Synology. I have found NFS permissions not required, indeed I don't have NFS switched on. What is required is Guest access to the Music folder and the Docker folder : 33633 Hope this helps! [SlimDevices: Unix] PiZero W + Picoreplayer 7.0.1 Wifi Issues
Having a strange issue. I've had a three Pi3b+ units with Hifiberry dac's installed in the house for awhile, and they work wonderfully over wifi. They are running PicoReplayer 7.0.1 (upgraded from 6 in place without any issues). I recently decided to replace one of the headless units with a pizero W + the hifiberry dac-zero. I ordered two PI-Zero's to play with (and a pirate-audio). Both pizero's connect to my wifi with picoreplayer and work, but lose IP connectivity after a period of time that can be 2 minutes to 60 minutes. It does not appear to happen when I'm not running anything on them. I originally thought it was an issue with using bluetooth + wifi at the same time (a test i was doing, but have since re-tested without the BT drivers loaded and the issue persists). The pi's are still running, and if I force them to reconnect to the access point (Ubiquiti NanoHD), via the AP control panel, then they happily continue for a bit before failing again. I have reduced to a single AP to see if I was having roaming issues. I have NOT tested a stock OS on the pi-zero's yet. I purchased two different piZeros from adafruit, a W and a WH unit, so shouldn't be from the same batch. Any ideas to further test? Settings to adjust? Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Waiting for soundcard to populate failure (JustBoom Digi Hat)
I have had the same issue. If you have SDA and SCL from the screen connected, try to disconnect them and try again. mick newface's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33471 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114018 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
