squeezelite starts automatically on boot, but is running as root. This was a fresh install of 6.1, though I have now updated to 7. Added Component > "'Wifi' (https://docs.picoreplayer.org/components/wifi/)". Not compulsory reading because hopefully setting up wifi is easy, but some background information for those working with "fringe" wifi setups. Updated "'Build a simple LMS server' (https://docs.picoreplayer.org/projects/build-simple-lms-server/)" a little bit. I got the LMS on piCorePlayer to accept my mount: 35036 But the mount isn't working. when I configure LMS in piCorePlayer, I mount my music directory: 35037 When I scan LMS does not find my music. When I PuTTY into the piCorePlayer I can see the /mnt/DSF and /mnt/FLAC directories are empty. It's creating the mount directories but it's not correctly mounting the NAS directories. Ideas? Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] ANNOUNCE: piCorePlayer 7.0.0
Hi I experienced some odd instability recently on PCP 7.0.1 with LMS 8.1.1, and had the dreaded empty library. A rescan didn't work so I restarted LMS and I could browse the network mount again but the PCP kept dropping off the LAN, even after a reboot, even though ping was working fine. Another reboot and it all seems to be behaving itself again, thought it occasionally times out on the web UI, which I don't see normally. Are there any diags I should look for? How does one detect a dodgy sdcard for example? I can only see dosfsck under Beta functions, which I presume is no use for linux filesystems. Nothing of note in LMS log file. I checked in dmesg and found some post-boot exceptions and backtraces reported which might not be good - and I don't see them on my other PCPs.
