8188eu is one of the Realtek out of drivers. The simple answer to Howards question is to not buy Realtek based product . I get those are the cheap ones ..for the reason that they could give a crap about software support. I'm doing more debugging. The clicks are coming from packet fragmentation in aac. Increasing buffers does help, but they are still there. I'm trying to figure out a solution. I just did a comparison between 7 and 8 Bluetooth. Sadly, dropouts and stutters affect 8 whereas 7 is stutter free...
