I have just corrected the link to the data sheet. Glad it's working.:) When the BSB superbikes finished I downloaded the HIFIBerry OS for a rpi 3b+ and tried it with a DIGI pro sound card I works without a hitch but I could not find the config.txt folder which contains the overlays, Dr. Google was no help. The working output setting is the default for a few of the hifiberry cards (and some others which use the same chip) This is mine 35722 and this is the config 35723 All good :) ronnie +---+ |Filename: config digi pro.png | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35723| +---+ Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114828 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce: piCorePlayer 8.0.0
Tx Ronnie Following https://docs.picoreplayer.org/how-to/edit_config_txt/ I couldn't find config.txt, or anything else unfortunately. mount says it's mounted: /dev/mmcblk0p1 on /mnt/mmcblk0p1 type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,uid=1001,gid=50,fmask=,dmask=,allow_utime=0022,codepage=437,iocharset=ascii,shortname=mixed,errors=remount-ro) but tc@pcp-xlr:/mnt/mmcblk0p1$ ls -al total 0 drwxr-xr-x2 root root40 Jan 1 1970 ./ drwxr-xr-x4 root root80 Jan 1 1970 ../ Hmmm. But then I changed the Output device back to HifiBerry DAC+, saved, tried a test track and magically audio worked! The output setting is hw:CARD=sndrpihifiberry,DEV=0 So did HifiBerry OS enable something on the card? Still confused, but at least it's working now! mr-b's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10044 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114828 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Hello CM4 or RPI 3B+ DAC USB or I2S AD1865R NOS DAC (Altera Cyclone IV) plugin - DSDPlayer (v1.07) when playing DSD files dsf, dff (2.8 or 5.6) a very high noise level is heard, about 6dB lower than the useful signal. Please help with the confuguration mirmil's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72090 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114828 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Also which > datasheet supplies that info? Here is the data sheet link https://https://www.hifiberry.com/docs/data-sheets/datasheet-dac2-pro-xlr/ The Hifiberry OS has Squeezelite With regard to the overlay: I mean that you should check that pCP is indeed, loading the correct overlay. First, using Hifiberry OS, you should be able to find the loaded overlay and verify that it is the one in the data sheet. Then, in the pCP install the nano extension (unless you are happy with vi; In Squeezelite settings select what you think is the appropiate Audio Output Setting, > HiFIBerry DAC2HD (and Pro) looks likely. Install that and reboot If it does not work, SSH into the pCP https://docs.picoreplayer.org/how-to/edit_config_txt/ and see which overlay is loaded, it will be at the bottom of the page. If it is different to the one that works with the HIfiberry OS then replace it, save and exit. then type pcp br and press the enter key See if it works ronnie It might be a good idea to download a fresh image of pCP and make a new image (also clear your browser cache). In fact I would try this first :) as it often seems to work. :) Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114828 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce: piCorePlayer 8.0.0
Tx - HifiberryOS just worked (after I'd worked out that it doesn't support USB booting) with BT (HAT LED lights up and audio is heard fine) but I can't see any way to integrate it with LMS. I did like the Volume Limit dB setting though as this acts as a very useful eardrum/speaker protector with active monitors! I'm afraid I didn't understand the PCP overlay part of your reply, plus I couldn't see anything relevant in the UI, nor the PCP docs.
