Installed PCP on a Pi 3B+ as I've done before, but now going with a Pi 7" touchscreen (using. Output to the screen works, but I don't seem able to install the Custom Clock and License Manager Applets. Would like to use SDT screensaver. Was able to install them on Max2Play, just won't show as installed on the PCP (though I do have the option to (Reinstall) before I reboot. On reboot, they're not installed. OK I tried the Update button as comparing checksums didn't appeal too greatly. So this looks like jivelite is already current but lirc needs updating. Is this going to make any difference? There is no way to migrate, the pCP aarch64 is pure 64bit. If your LMS has a complicated setup, you could copy the prefs, but most just setup from scratch. piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce: piCorePlayer 8.0.0
What would be the smart way of migrating from 32bit pCP 8.1 to 64bit? I currently use a pi3B for LMS only and will be changing to a new pi4 4GB for LMS. Are there specific files I can copy over to speed up the process? Or must I start from scratch and reinstall everything I want? Thanks in advance! There it works directly. Then I switched back to the Sennheiser HD350BT and they are not working. But I saw in the log that SBC is not working with the Anker, so I switched both to AAC and saved that. Then I connected the Sennheiser again and suddenly the buttons are working. Everything still works for me Carsten. Take a look in the bluetooth log. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce: piCorePlayer 8.0.0
Hello and a great new year! After updating to 8.1.0 a few weeks ago I didn't used my bluetooth headphones, but only used direct output via Hifiberry. Today I tried the headphones, they conected without any problem, but the headphone functions for play/pause/next/previous are not longer working. This was working without any problem in 8.0.0 before. Is this a known problem or is this new? pi4 4gb picoreplayer with lms and squeezelite for usb inside an argon one case pi3b+ (7\" display, hifiberry dac+ pro) picoreplayer with squeezlite/jivelite for hifiberry and bluetooth headphone inside a smartipi touch case two airport express ikea symfonisk carsten_h's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69113 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114828 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Yes, both jivelite and shairport are not upgraded automatically. Tinycore doesn't support version info directly, only the extension checksum is used to determine if an update is needed. There is version info available in the repo for extensions, however, it's not downloaded. You can compare the local md5sum files for jivelite with the repository, but it's much easier... to in the jivelite section of the tweaks page there's an update button which will update all jivelite components that are "out of date".
