Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] My Alpine Linux Repo for LMS and Squeezelite
I did some repo updating tonight. Fixed some build failures with a few of the APKBUILD files and updated a few others. Rebuilt the lms modules for aarch64 to work with the perl 5.34. Architectures with squeezelite, jivelite, and supporting packages: x86_64, x86, armv7, armhf, aarch64 Architectures with lms and supporting packages: x86_64, x86, armv7, aarch64 sodface's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19057 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112276 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
[SlimDevices: Unix] Can't Save Playlists
Hi together, Sadly I'm still a beginner with Unix. Ownership and File access rights are still somewhat a problem. I've recently migrated my LMS from an Ubuntu LTS14.04 to a new LTS 20.04 server. Everything so far works out alright with the exception that I can't save newly created Playlists. The Ubuntu Server runs on an Intel NUC. My Music Library is stored on a Synology NAS: - Mount Point: /mnt/music - Music Folder: /mnt/music/MyMusic - Playlist Folder: /mnt/music/SqueezePlaylists - I configured the following rights for /mnt/music with: sudo addgroup lms && sudo usermod -aG lms squeezeboxserver && sudo chown -R username:lms /mnt/music - I'm using CIFS to access the Music Share. With my privileges i can copy a File from the server to the Music Folder on the NAS as well as to the Playlist Folder on the NAS. Since LMS can as well play the Playlists as well as the music files in the Folders, i gather that as well read and write rights work ok with the standard unix username. When I try to write a new Playlist Code: 22-03-05 21:51:02.3208 Slim::Formats::Playlists::Base::_filehandleFromNameOrString (86) Error: Could't open /mnt/music/SqueezePlaylists/PL_DePhazz and Company.m3u for writing. Existing files in the /mnt/music/SqueezePlaylists Folder hhave the following rights: Code: -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 23154 Mar 01 2022 PL_CaleJJ.m3u -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 18258 Mar 01 2022 PL_CarmenPhil.m3u -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 113065 Mar 01 2022 PL_CockerHiattMellencamp.m3u I tried as alternatives: - sudo chown -R squeezeboxserver:lms /mnt/music - sudo chown -R squeezeboxserver:nogroup /mnt/music - sudo chown -R squeezeboxserver:lms /mnt/music/SqueezePlaylists - sudo chown -R squeezeboxserver:nogroup /mnt/music/SqueezePlaylists So far nothing remedied the problem I would very much appreciate any pointers that help to fix this problem Kind regards Philipp pschlaeppi's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33323 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116073 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Tomorrow i'll look at file pcpcfg because in web interface IS set, i'm sure. And is working as said with pcp, sound is correct player from usb dac. Maybe some bug of interface ? febomax's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72641 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114834 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

according to this Code: 03-05 09:16 CET DEBUG pCP OUTPUT="" It is not set. once you install alsaeq from the tweaks page, that takes over, the device "equal" is set on the squeezlite output. ..you can select the audio device in the alsaeq section on the tweaks page. piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM. Paul Strangely enough I tried those exact instructions yesterday but for some strange reason the Output Setting field was just showing equal and there was no available dropdown. I had been using a HiFi berry+ DAC HAT on this pi previously maybe that had something to do with it. This morning I just re-flashing the sd-card which solved that little issue. This is the Output Setting that eventually worked with the Dante USB adapter. plughw:CARD=Module,DEV=0 Logitech Media Server Version: 8.2.0, Slim-devices Silver Transporter | SB Touch | 2 * SB Duets | 2 * SB Boom | SB Radio | Pi3 & Pi 4 + HiFiBerry-Amp+ Official Touchscreen + PiCorePlayer, (RIP SB Classic | SB Radio | Wandboard) lesliew's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30045 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114828 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

LMS is fully functional but I cannot access the squeezelite player anymore. I have to restart it from the piCorePlayer webinterface to get it working again. Can I provide other logs to enable problem solving? sisiko's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70536 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116050 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Of couse is set in squeezelite page as output device and is working PERFECT the USB D10 in that way. Log is made with D10 configured in this way. But bluetooth doesn't "see" it. So somenthing is missing in "chain" About pin seems some trouble in paring, if i "remove" phone in web page i can connect again without problems. febomax's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72641 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114834 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

When you set usb, you must manually set the squeezelite output on the squeezelite page.
