[SlimDevices: Unix] Perl 5.24 libraries for Debian Stretch/9 armhf (Download included)
Debian 9 (Stretch) is release, and the default Perl version is 5.24. At the moment, only the CPAN libraries for x86_64 are included. Therefore I compiled the armhf binaries, so I can run it on my Cubox. It might work for other armhf platforms and distributions as well. You can download the attached file, and upzip it to /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/CPAN/arch/5.24 If others try it and confirm it to work, I'll submit a pull request on GitHub to include it in the installation packages. Note that you only need it for armel, not for armhf or i386, since the libs are included with the 7.9 nightlies by default. I also upgraded my ARM server to Jessie yesterday. I installed 7.9 as available here: http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/7.9/sc/a6dacd2/logitechmediaserver_7.9.0~1428327734_all.deb Directory appears empty but you can still download the file. It includes the Perl modules for Perl 5.20, but only for armhf. armel is missing, so I compiled them myself.
