Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] ANNOUNCE: piCorePlayer 6.0.0
Hi all, I have noob question. -Is it possible to have two USB2/USB3 ports activated at the same time on the PiCorePlayer (RP4) and loaded/populated with two identical USB-interfaces. (example: Amanero with identical firmwares)? /Jan JaMo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56386 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111787 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

No communicatioon at all. I put in the output setting: iec958:CARD=M20,DEV=0 . I restarted both units several times. No cmmunication. Then I chosed a USB 3 port on the Pi4 and voilĂ . It works now. To sum it up. The output setting ( iec958:CARD=M20,DEV=0 ) is valid. But it still was a challange to get the communication to start. I have no patent solution but don't give up. I succeeded eventually, twice. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] BETA: piCorePlayer6.0.0 - PI4 support
Hi I just bought a Mutec MC3+ USB. It is a XMOS based device/digital interface that converts, reclocks. I got it to work with older PiCorPlayer software 3.5.0 on a 3B-pi with output setting: [ iec958:CARD=M20,DEV=0 ]. I haven't got it to work with pi 3B+ (5.0.1) or on pi 4B+ (6.0.0-b7) I am using Beta mode on all. Is there a known, working output setting in the newer software releases, or do You have plans to add these. Finally a million thanks for Your hard work with this excellent player. /Jan JaMo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56386 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110727 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] ANNOUNCE: piCorePlayer 5.0.0
Hi, I love the PiCoreplayer and run a handul of them. Thanks for the hard work, guys. This is a bit off topic but not really totally off... I just saw that nVidia recently has brought this Pi-sized "nVidia Jetson nano" to the market/public. I have a vision to use a bunch of PiCorePlayers feeding a bunch of different dac's of different architectures (R2R, DS..). I would like to synchronize them all, (playing the same material). DSD-material is not possible to play on the older ones (PCM1704/TDA1541A).So my crazy vision is to have a more powerful player that can transcode DSD to PCM "on the fly"...Sort of anyway. A buffering with a small time delay should possibly be neccesary. The new nVidia Jetson nano has a A57 @ 1.43Ghz, 4Gb ram and Cuda GPU with 128 cores..This one cought my attention. It should have the computeing power to do this DSD to PCM conversion... at least in theory. Is there any interest in this hardhardware besides mine? /Jan JaMo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56386 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110642 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
