However, for a while, I keep asking myself, would there be a difference of sound quality with a standalone "audiophile" streamer? (ie: Chord, Auralic, Rose, etc..) Hi All, My Rpi4 with PCP7 just crashed yesterday and couldn't restore it so I decided to download PCP8 and install it on my Rpi4 with Touchscreen. Hi All I just updated my Rpi4 setup from using my Synology Nas as LMS server to directly my Rpi4 as server now. Everything is great, the interface is nicer, more modern however, even if not a super big deal, I can't play DSD/DSF files anymore. (I installed the DSD plugin). The player seems to play the file but there is no sound and the DAC doesn't recognize the file anymore. I can now play the files however it seems it it converting them into lower rate file (PCM 176.4K). It seems I solved the Yellow spark problem. Thx for the answer. I'm using a linear PSU from Audiophonics 5v 5A. I just installed PCP 4.0 and also the Radio Paradise plug in. It's all great at the exception of a little issue. After few tracks the album cover and the artist name get stuck on the raspberry screen. The music still works ok. [emoji31] Any idea how to resolve this issue? Something weird is happening tonight with my PCP player. I bought a just boom IR remote and a Flirc USB IR receiver. And since I plugged the IR receiver into the player I have a display issue even with the usb receiver removed. Basically, the player starts as normal, shows the Picoreplayer logo and then the screen goes black, switch off. But the player is still on. Any idea how to resolve the issue? In a setup with a 7'touchscreen, Is there a way in PCP to have the screen switching off completely after a certain time of inactivity? Hi Paul I've been recommended to use it with my DAC. As"apparently" the RPI USB port is not the best in direct for audio. Same for my DAC (Chord Qute Ex) it seems that the Coax has better audio quality.
