Thanks for the answer. Seems like it's a long way to go to make this
display work at all.

[SlimDevices: Unix] 2.8" touch display on picore

2021-01-28 Thread trondkj

I am trying to install drivers for this display:
https://raspberrypiwiki.com/index.php/2.8_inch_Touch_Screen_for_Pi_zero
on picoreplayer 7.0.0, Pi Zero W, but cannot get the *git* command to
run. Is there another way to install the drivers for the display?

I want to build a picore player into an old Tivoli One radio with this
display if possible.

I do also use the 7" touch display but on a 3B board. It works with no
problems, so may be something with the screen?

Ok, I did. Could not ping repo.picoreplayer.org, but I could ping the ip
address directly. So the DNS is not set properly. How (or where) do I
fix that?

I have nothing that should prevent it.

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer 6.1.0 issues

2020-09-26 Thread trondkj

Hi.

I run PiCorePlayer on a pi3b in a box with the Audiophonics power
management unit installed. After activating the button in the overlay
another button shows up:

31696

When trying to install, I see this:

31695

The led on the button has at least stopped blinking, but still I have to
hold the button for fie secs to shutdown. Can this Shutdown Monitor be
installed manually somehow?

I somehow made it work, but this "Shutdown Monitor" that is required,
does not install. Is there a way to install it via ssh?

Is it possible to make this work on PiCorePlayer? The power button is
only blinking.
