If you are running Material, it has "Shutdown" and "Restart" options when you're in Server Settings - Click the three dots on the top right of the screen. "sudo service logitechmediaserver stop" did the job perfectly. Thanks very much.. [SlimDevices: Unix] How to stop LMS on a Pi / access Control Panel
A dumb question - how do I stop LMS on the Pi? I can't find the control panel that I'd use in Windows to do this, and I'd rather not just terminate the process. I am trying to copy an old copy /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs over and it seems prudent to stop LMS first.
