My only issue thus far is accented or special characters in Playlists are not recognized with the result those tracks are ommitted from the playlist. A nuisance as I rarely use Playlists, but eventually would like it remedied. I have a few problems recently including a a recurrence of the size mismatch issue. I have also lost settings and had issues with scanning. [SlimDevices: Unix] Squeezebox Server 7.5.4 on Ubuntu 11.04
Have noticed some people having issues with this distro and the latest version of squeezebox server. I upgraded Ubuntu from 10.04 to 10.10 and then to 11.04 and squeezebox server from 7.5.3 to 7.5.4 I replaced all config files and only had to reconfigure samba. It took an hour and on restart took a few minutes before the browser found the web service. I did not re-scan the library. Played successfully through 2 receivers. All seems to be working!!!
