I too have the same problem with squeezeboxserver 7.5.1 on Solaris 10. Hi, the start command procudes this error on my solaris box: bash-3.00# /opt/squeezecenter/slimserver.pl --cachedir=/opt/squeezecenter/cache --user=slimsrv --group=slimsrv --audiodir=/data/M/hifidelio_bkp --pidfile=/opt/squeezecenter/cache/squeezecenter.pid The following CPAN modules were found but cannot work with Squeezebox Server: Audio::Scan: Audio::Scan object version 0.85 does not match bootstrap parameter 0.82 at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i86pc-solaris/DynaLoader.pm line 253. Compilation failed in require at (eval 30) line 2. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at (eval 30) line 2. To fix this problem you have several options: 1. Install the latest version of the module(s) using CPAN: sudo cpan Some::Module 2. Update the module's package using apt-get, yum, etc. 3. Run the .tar.gz version of Squeezebox Server which includes all required CPAN modules.
