Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer: crashes for to me unknown reasons
What is the format of the music from Tidal?If squeezelite is really crashing, it will not log there. You will need to run squeezelite manually from an ssh session to see what is going on. On the squeezelite page, just to the right of the Save button, you will see "Squeezelite Command String" If you press the more> button, it will expand and show you the command string. Use that to start start squeezelite from an ssh session (Make sure you stop squeezelite from the pCP interface first) piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer: crashes for to me unknown reasons
The crashes occur when I use Tidal. Apart from that I only listen to radio stations or podcasts every now and then. I assume pCP crashes, because it looks the following for me and does not work again until I reboot. More specifically restarting it does not help. 37517 This is the running services when everything is fine: 37518 My LMS log looks the following: Code: pi@raspberrypi:~/lms $ docker-compose logs Attaching to lms lms| Starting Logitech Media Server on port 9000... lms| [22-03-13 09:42:25.9016] main::init (390) Starting Logitech Media Server (v8.2.1, 1644703015, Sun Feb 13 00:57:32 CET 2022) perl 5.032001 - arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int lms| [22-03-18 08:44:51.4783] Slim::Utils::Scanner::Remote::__ANON__ (236) Error: Can't connect to remote server to retrieve playlist for, https://tidal.com/playlist/efefe71d-4dec-42de-b438-cd3470f35ec2: 403 HTTP Forbidden. lms| [22-03-18 08:45:09.7606] Slim::Utils::Scanner::Remote::__ANON__ (236) Error: Can't connect to remote server to retrieve playlist for, https://tidal.com/playlist/efefe71d-4dec-42de-b438-cd3470f35ec2: 403 HTTP Forbidden. lms| [22-03-18 08:46:20.0550] Slim::Utils::Scanner::Remote::__ANON__ (236) Error: Can't connect to remote server to retrieve playlist for, https://tidal.com/playlist/efefe71d-4dec-42de-b438-cd3470f35ec2: 403 HTTP Forbidden. lms| [22-03-18 08:47:57.2571] Slim::Utils::Scanner::Remote::__ANON__ (236) Error: Can't connect to remote server to retrieve playlist for, https://tidal.com/playlist/103c6140-0069-4b17-9c07-8bc739661464: 403 HTTP Forbidden. lms| [22-03-18 08:49:03.7835] Slim::Utils::Scanner::Remote::__ANON__ (236) Error: Can't connect to remote server to retrieve playlist for, https://tidal.com/playlist/efefe71d-4dec-42de-b438-cd3470f35ec2: 403 HTTP Forbidden. lms| [22-03-18 08:49:11.6623] Slim::Utils::Scanner::Remote::__ANON__ (236) Error: Can't connect to remote server to retrieve playlist for, https://tidal.com/playlist/efefe71d-4dec-42de-b438-cd3470f35ec2: 403 HTTP Forbidden. lms| [22-03-19 11:36:57.0095] Slim::Utils::Timers::__ANON__ (272) Error: Timer Slim::Plugin::DontStopTheMusic::Plugin::dontStopTheMusic failed: lms| [22-03-19 11:42:13.9934] main::init (390) Starting Logitech Media Server (v8.2.1, 1644703015, Sun Feb 13 00:57:32 CET 2022) perl 5.032001 - arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int lms| [22-03-19 12:53:28.0803] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (130) Error: Select task failed calling Slim::Networking::Async::HTTP::_http_read_body: Can't call method "scanUrl" on an undefined value at /lms/Slim/Utils/Scanner/Remote.pm line 1294. lms| ; fh=Slim::Networking::Async::Socket::HTTP=GLOB(0x6b1ce78) lms| [22-03-19 14:48:48.1499] main::init (390) Starting Logitech Media Server (v8.2.1, 1644703015, Sun Feb 13 00:57:32 CET 2022) perl 5.032001 - arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int Interestingly enough there is no log for today's crash around 10:04 AM. +---+ |Filename: pCP_top.png | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=37518| +---+ sisiko's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70536 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116050 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer: crashes for to me unknown reasons
That appears to be playing from Tidal. Is that always the case when things stop working. If LMS is still working (and is on the same machine) then it is clear that "piCorePlayer" has not really crashed. Can you connect to the system via SSH and see what is running (and consuming most cpu and/or memory) or not running compared to usual status? Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer: crashes for to me unknown reasons
Although I am now able to run the latest LMS versions, the first described behavior ist still happening. I play music, e.g. from a playlist. It seems like at the end of a random (!) song, the music stops. piCorePlayer is crashed and needs to be rebooted to work again. LMS is accessable the whole time. I am a little lost on how to debug that or give you more information in this community to support. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer: crashes for to me unknown reasons
1. Where is LMS running/what version Logitech Media Server Version: 8.1.1 - 1610364019 is running in a docker compose container on my "server" pi. 2. What is your audio setup? Raspberry Pi 4 with piCorePlayer v8.1.0. Connected via USB 3.0 port to Nubert nuConnect ampX which acts as a DAC and an amplifier. The LMS power button for that player turns the Raspberry Pi's USB outputs on and off according to 'this thread' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?112760-piCorePlayer-Turn-off-USB-output-when-turning-off-player&highlight=sisiko). 3. What is the audio source when this occurs? I stream from Tidal, radio stations and some podcasts. I also use the LastMix mixes, streaming from Tidal. I did not note that down, but from memory this squeezelite player crash happens with any of these. sisiko's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70536 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116050 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer: crashes for to me unknown reasons
LMS is fully functional but I cannot access the squeezelite player anymore. I have to restart it from the piCorePlayer webinterface to get it working again. Can I provide other logs to enable problem solving? sisiko's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70536 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116050 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer: crashes for to me unknown reasons
That doesnt look like a squeezelite crash. Likely LMS doesnt know how handle a specific track. piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM.
