Thanks very much Paul & genen! That worked beautifully. Sorry to take so
long to respond, but was traveling without my laptop and couldn't make
the changes.

Love my piCore players and servers! Greatest way to listen to music!

Kernel modules extensions for pCP are only available on the pCP repo.

Do not download ffmpeg from the piCore repo, do what gegen said.

The piCoreplayer repository has an extension called pcp-ffmpeg.tcz
perhaps that might work for you.

PCP Team,

For quite some time now, I've enjoyed using Raspberry Pi 3B+ and HiFi
Berry HATs to build numerous music servers and players for my friends
and family. That's a lovely way to experience the music collection put
together over the years!

Recently after I upgraded one player/server to PCP 8.1.0, I was unable
to play some old WMA files in my library. I tried adding the ffmpeg
extension from the piCore repository several times, but download always
fails. See screenshot. I noticed that this is the only repository that
lists ffmepg.

Is there another way to add the extension to permit playing WMA files?

Thanks for all the hard work creating and maintaining the wonderful
piCore universe!

Regards,

Chris

There seems to be occasional regional DNS problems that prevent some
folks from reaching our main repo.

I figured it out. The main repository was unavailable. I used the mirror
repository and it worked.

[SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer 8.1.0 LMS Additional File Systems Fail

2022-02-09 Thread mhconley

I have installed LMS on my Raspberry Pi 4B 4GB piCorePlayer. I am trying
to mount my NAS file system to access my music files. Before I can use
Set NET Mount I need to Install addition file systems for pCP. I click
the install button and get this:

[ INFO ] Downloading additional file systems support...
There was a error downloading ntfs-3g.tcz.
Retrying extension ntfs-3g.tcz...in 5 seconds.
There was a error downloading ntfs-3g.tcz.

How do I fix this? Please help.
