Job Description:


Responsibilities:

Designs and Develops software components and applications.
Develops and executes test cases against unit releases.
Develops and executes regression test plans against software code
releases to ensure that code corrections have not impaired previously
validated areas.
Ensures that software defect states are accurately updated upon
completion of verification tasks.
Maintains a high level of system knowledge.
Works with Operations, Customer Service, and possibly the Client to
gather relevant data to determine product requirements.
Utilizes System Observations, System Logs, Database records and Test
Lab reproduction to demonstrate clear understanding of the Issue.
Validates that new releases are ready for deployment and document the
same for the Client.
Clarifies details of software release.
Demonstrates within the Test Lab environment any or all of the
documented test results for the product owner and possibly the Client.
Works as part of a Scrum team and within Agile development methodology


Qualifications:

· Four-year degree in Software Engineering or equivalent plus
a minimum of four years of experience in web development.

· Java Enterprise (JEE) knowledge/skills (eg: EJBs, App
Servers (JBoss, Spring, JSF, Struts, etc.) and version control tools
(Subversion, Git) and Continuous Integration tools (Hudson/Jenkins).

· Experience working with shell scripts, JAVA, Service
Oriented Architecture and XML files.

· Familiarity with jar/war files repository management tools
as well as deployment tools for java applications is desirable.

· Scripting skills, HTML 5, JavaScript, JQuery.

· Knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.

· Excellent understanding of software development “best
practices” and lifecycle issues (scalability, manageability and deploy
ability) and test driven development frameworks (JUnit).  Requires an
excellent understanding of QA process and software development
lifecycles.

· Good time-management and self-management skills, proven
ability to identify issues that need to be resolved determine and
implement solution to complicated system/software problems. Self
motivated team player with a positive attitude. Good interpersonal
skills and the ability to interact with professional technical and
non-technical persons.

The creative technologist is responsible for the creation of the UX
design specification prototype. They are the main point of contact for
how the prototype was created, standards, updates and how the

Dept of Treasury seeks a PeopleSoft HCM Functional Lead for their
implementation of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2. HCM SYSTEM
IMPLEMENTATION-specific experience is required, as is experience with
the Base Benefits and Employee & Manager Self  Service HCM modules



This FUNCTIONAL Lead role will focus around implementing PeopleSoft
HCM 9.2.  The primary module of focus for this implementation will be
Base Benefits. Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service will
also be implemented.



***This will be a full lifecycle position for the functional
implementation - candidates MUST display full lifecycle SYSTEM
IMPLEMENTATION-specific FUNCTIONAL LEAD experience of Peoplesoft HCM,
and must display experience with the implementation of Base Benefits,
most importantly, as well as Employee & Manager Self Service modules,

The resource in this role will be expected to gather requirements,
